I'm not sure that having the sprint while a major conference is going on is
a good idea. It would likely lessen the number of potential attendees sinc=
e
promo people are needed at these events to help staff booths (and we can't
get any work done if we're all staffing booths at a conference). Also, I
think sprints are usually only for a long weekend (I think) so that most
people could make it without taking off a lot of time from work/school/etc.
For the last promo sprint it seemed like everyone tried to get in as early
as possible on Friday and left late Sunday evening or Monday morning as
their schedules permitted. So using your list but avoiding the conferences=
,
moving the dates to the weekends, and narrowing it down a bit further to
make it more manageable...how about we use these 3?

22-24 April
6-8 May
13-15 May

For those of you that have venue contacts, can you inquire to them about
whether we could invade their space on these weekends and let us know if
someone accepts? I think that Germany, Spain or the UK would all make
convenient hosts at this point given the current list of attendees. Once w=
e
know what our options are we can make our final decision on which
date/location works best.
