Here is kind of a brain dump of just a few things I think we could potentially tackle at said sprint: * prepare for desktop summit (this would be insanely valuable on its own as very little has happened on the KDE side so far) * finish promo booklet (assuming we can get some of the folks who've been leading the charge here to come) * create some wiki pages for important repeatable promo tasks * ensure we have an up to date page with boilerplate slides for use at conferences, LUG meetings, etc to introduce people to KDE so people don't have to reinvent the wheel every time * a page for all things related to conferences that people might need, like having all source files for flyers, stickers, install media, etc in one spot * organize pages for major initiatives like ISMP ("Join the game") and the upcoming corporate sponsorship campaign * other misc tasks (mailing list cleanup, other wiki organization) * team building....in other words: meet each other in person, drink beers (or whatever you prefer), hang out and that's just 5 minutes of solo brain storming...i'm sure there are plenty of other valuable things we could do. what ideas do you all have? we can add them to the wiki page stu created. -Justin > > > > > Carl > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > > > This message is from the kde-promo mailing list. > > > > > > Visit https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-promo to unsubscribe, > set > > > digest on or temporarily stop your subscription. > > > > _______________________________________________ > This message is from the kde-promo mailing list. > > Visit https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-promo to unsubscribe, set > digest on or temporarily stop your subscription. > --001485f8732abce673049989acb3 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

I do think that there are serious subjects to add= ress and that this would be a good idea, particularly with the Desktop Summ= it coming up. I'd be interested in attending.
