Well, first, express that we'll take him :)

Second: we have large datasets available that he may need some
hand-holding in obtaining. For example, SVN/git logs are public, but
most people don't know how to obtain them. It would be good to point
him to Paul's previous work on this (although that was focused on
metrics rather than statistical prediction)

We also have irc logs, mailing list archives, the source code itself,
svn/e.V./etc. membership lists (with histories, since they're publicly
available in svn), dot postings, release announcements, bugs, etc.
which could be used for any manner of stats, much of which would be
useful to us in the promo community.

I might even suggest that one of us offer to be a primary contact for
him within KDE just to provide what he needs since promo will benefit
from this work.

Am I missing any significant useful datasets? And would anyone
volunteer to run point on this? (if not, I can do so).
