I don't think an article like that is anything to get frustrated about.
There are an awful lot of people already making proper distinctions based on
the rebranding efforts (planet kde blogs, identi.ca traffic, etc).  In a
situation like this one I think a lot of the incorrect usage of terms in the
comments below are at least partially due to the incorrect usage in the
original article.

I've never heard of this web site before (
http://www.osnews.com/story/22662/Your_KDE4_Experiences) but if this is a
major site that gets a lot of attention we should email this author and
nicely/politely remind them about how we have changed some of our branding
and give them some examples of how to correct his usage of our brands in his
article.  Heck, maybe he'll even write a new article based on it?  Even if
that new article is poking fun at us for being a pain by making up new
branding stuff it's still press that gets the new branding terms out there
in front of users.
