We actually said "KDE Platform" (that /may/ be also referred to as "KDE
Development Platform"). Does "KDE Framework" work as a short - or even the
official - form? Otherwise "KDE Development Framework" is ~ nine syllables and a
fair bit of writing and we might inadvertently be inviting people to shorten
it to something more convenient, like "KDE" :-(

The alignment with Qt is nice and it does avoid some of the problems someone
somewhere suggested about platform also referring to things like Windows,
Linux, Mac etc...

This is an effect on one of our "Powered by KDE" type labels:

    * Built on the KDE Platform
--> Built on the KDE Framework
--> Built on the KDE Development Framework (long?)

I've no objection in principle, just wanted to raise some potential issues.
None of them are that big.
