Actually the best way of getting feedback from users i'vee seen in KDE
is Amarok's way. There is a web form on Amarok's website which users
send comments using it.The message will be posted to Amarok's mailing
list and the answers will be sent to mailing list + users email
address.
Its both user and developer friendly.the chances of getting into a
discussion is more, because users will recieve response on their email
instead of 'posting a message and never coming back'.also its not
yet-another-communication-channel.

(we had this discussion once on kde-games-devel, im almost repeating it here)
