Hello Saurav

KDE doesn't use Gtk because, when KDE was started, we chose to use Qt. 
We're not going to throw now 12 years of code away to start using Gtk.

Also note that, we believe Qt, by itself, is a superior toolkit to GTK+. 
When we combine with our own classes in KDELibs, we don't need GTK+ at 
all.
