Hi Gabriel,

At this very moment the marketing working group is having kind of a
brainstorming on this.

I am also very possitive in growing our merchandising offer. I am crazy
about merchandising and I love it just to sneak around on the internet and
to look for the newest coolest merchandising gadgets.

Having a shop has been proposed last year and was turned down. Maybe
because then it was not the right time.

But I like to tell you that I really support your idea and hope to help
realise is :-)

Recently I was visiting the KDE shop to see what you guys had and I
have to say that I was quite underwhelmed. There wasn't that many
products available and most of them are just too generic (most designs
are just the KDE logo). Also this store is very Europe centric and the
shipping is too expensive for people in the rest of the world. I
suggest that you guys make a cafe press store and introduce more
merchandise. I think this is very important for the promotion of KDE
and for its overall health since selling goodies can be a good source
of income for the project. I say this because I love KDE and I would
like to see more people switching from Mac and Windows to Linux or any
P.S Some foss project stores from which you could borrow ideas from is
