Doesn't solve the issue. Cornelius has a good point: our 'product', the
thing we now mostly call KDE, needs a name. The name 'KDE' is ok, but
doesn't fit our idea of rebranding. I'd love to hear some more thoughts
about that. BTW, I'm not opposed to continued use of 'KDE' as Cornelius
quotes from the release announcement. I do however want to try and come up
with other solutions.

Can't we just call it Plasma? hehe ;-)

"application suite"? "KDE Community releases the KDE Application Suite
version 4.2"
"Workspace"? "KDE Community releases KDE Workspace 4.2"

hmm, a vaguely descriptive name doesn't really work, imho. Should we even
try to come up with a name? Cornelius thinks no, I'm unsure.
