Thoughts:

"With the third beta, the KDE project starts finalizing KDE 4.0" may read
better as "With the third beta, the KDE project has begun to finalize KDE
4.0".

"This Beta (comma) aimed at...."

"Koffice project which releases its (the possessive has no apostrophe) 4th
alpha..."

Regarding "fulfill the need for a powerful yet easy to use desktop for UNIX
and LINUX workstations", perhaps it would be unnecessary, but what about
saying "fulfill the need for a powerful, yet easy to use, desktop for both
personal computing and the enterprise"?  Thoughts?

"improvements from previous beta and alpha releases" (remove hyphen)

"This Beta (to be consistent - capital or not? Its capitalized elsewhere) is
primarily focused on finalizing".

"usability improvements were written, bugs were found"

Sorry, gotta get to work - I'll try to do more later (post-meeting hell)
