I think it might be interesting to get some info out of your local lug. Toss
up a super quick survey, shoot it out as an email to your LUG's ml, and see
what they have to say.

While some say that luggers tend to be more advanced, and use only the cli,
with incredible tcsh-fu as they ssh to a box in Djibouti in order to remotely
put pants on a monkey....

The reality is, many lug people are new. Sure, theres plenty of faces you've
seen for years - but alot of guys go because they want to learn, and still
haven't figured it all out. Or they have figured it out, and love the
diverse topics.

Of course, I could be wrong, and they just like the beer afterwards.

Anyways.... I'm just saying that while activity, commits, and distributions
with KDE shipping x number of copies. etc is good... I'd say a good sampling
of Linux user opinions would be most valuable. People who don't necessarily
go to distrowatch.com every 10 minutes to see whats new.

PS: Coffee at 12am to try and finish getting work done is bad. Aaron's latest
screen caps of plasma are bad*ass*.
