Doubtful.

SpreadKDE was always meant as the web gateway to the task center. It was
limited in access, and those with weren't available due to unavoidable issues
outside the scope of KDE.

That has now been resolved, and others have access, and are working on it.

Thats not the only purpose of the events calendar - as a place to help
coordinate a KDE presence at various events, getting marketing materials,
etc.

It has no place on the Dot.

The link under Getting Involved for Promotion will be linked to spreadkde.org
once the new site is finished. The page there now links to it for tasks and
such already.

It is official, and appears as such, being that it is an official project.

And being moved - alot of the sites are being reorganized at the moment.
Theres alot of duplicate info, off-site info, etc. SpreadKDE is part of the
effort to centralize associated information.

Thats whats being done, and was always the intent - it isn't a PR channel, its
an organizational system of KDE marketing & promotion.

Not really. As mentioned before, the lack of updates was because those with
access were unavailable to make changes. This is the channel.

Yup - Nuno, as always, created some spiffy graphics - but like I said, it *is*
official ;)
