Your framework reminds me of social networking or personal profile sites=20 such as Friendster, LinkedIn and MySpace. The drawback of these sites is=20 that you can network exclusively with people that also have registered an=20 account at the same service. The big advantage of your tool compared to those sites, is that it does not= =20 require an account at such services. It can be used as a simple address=20 book up to a full-fledged personal profile tool, that may be linked to=20 aformentioned services to enhance user experience. My suggestions: 1. Community (Builder)=20 Isn't community building one of the KDE projects core activities ;- )? Not= =20 only does community reflect the functionality of the framework, managing=20 of and interacting with people that you are related to through a network=20 of relations or community, but it also has a welcoming/warm ring to it for= =20 users and induce a sense of belonging/being part of a community. This=20 could be a community of family, a group of friends or a socie May I also suggest including the KDE community, its teams and main contacts= =20 with a brief introduction as part of the standard available=20 communities/data. That way, people would have (part of) the KDE community=20 in their communities from the start. I would like our KDE users to think=20 about their KDE community as part of their social network. And although=20 they may not actually join the community, their contacts may notice us in=20 their network. 2. Pau Wau or PowWow (which unfortunately do not exactly fit the KDE 4=20 naming scheme ) More appropriate for the KDE 4 naming scheme and less straight-forward: 3. Resonance or Consonance =20 Regards, Claire =2D-=20 Claire Lotion KDE Marketing Team http://www.spreadkde.org KDE Nederland http://www.kde.nl --nextPart1449961.bSqlOTP5LD Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBFv5eLWQA+g30fSgERAgotAJ43t1txILQzm/Fbs5L+ebDjT+Q3tACgsSCF jByLnPIGA9HnqupSvFlLY8Q= =xwTE -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1449961.bSqlOTP5LD-- --===============1404093692== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
