Interesting, even if non so far that might be it, I think (but you may vote, 
too :).

Perhaps something with living entities, that can group freely, operate 
together and have relations, something organic?
And it should be a name that is family and business compatible (yes, sorry). 
With a mystic touch.
Lichen?
(Hm, might have bad annotations for those living in a non-symbiotic 
relationship with them ;) What is lichen in your language?

Another, lazy option:
Perhaps one should just invent a new with no semantics 
attached, so it can be filled with what is wanted. Didn't this work for 
Akonadi and Ubuntu, too (well, even if these for some people on this planet 
have had a semantic before, but for most(?) not).
