Kind of an interesting link at:

For those not familiar, it sounds a bit crazy, but the attention span
of someone is limited and desired by advertising, and therefore
considered a commodity.

I bring up the link and wacky concept for three reasons:
1) It brings importance to having a coherent message about KDE - it's
like an elevator pitch, don't blow it.
2) Think about how to *gain* from Vista and OS X releases next year in
keeping operating system choices in the minds of people, instead of
*losing* press and getting washed out with the focus on those two.
3) "AIDA - Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. Attention is
therefore a crucial and the first stage in the process of converting
non-consumer" is an interesting point.  Capture the attention and use
it.  As familiarity goes up from Q++, don't let it go to waste.
