That's pretty interesting. We're actually working on creating a central place 
for registering (at least KDE-related) events. That explicitely includes 
FLOSS (sorry :-)) events. Having a calendar available is the first step in 
making event attendance a success, and we have a volunteer who's collecting 
event info and making a calendar of it -- that's Barbara, CC:.

Maybe you want to join forces? I think a lot of work can be shared. I'm just 
bluntly CC:ing kde-promo and changing the subject a little.
