Are you kidding?

If you honestly expect us to help you with promoting this then I think it's 
only fair if we know what we're going to promote. $3000 for a job that 
detracts people from KOffice 2/KDE 4 development, is a shitload of work, and 
an anonymous supporter of whom we know nothing to top it off makes it sound 
like bad marketing.

At the very least you could send a mail to the (private) dot-editors mailing 
list and/or the promo people who need to deal with this with more detailed 
information so we can make an informed decision.

As it stands now it smells too fishy to me to seriously consider this, also 
taking the discussion on the KOffice list into account.
