Maybe it would be more effective to set the Contest for a nice, clean version 
of KOffice and to give the 3.000$ to the one doing the best implementation in 
the time (or to split it, so others also get paid for their work). 

Maybe you can avoid 3 different half assed implementations that way, because 
the quality of the code would then count, too. 

But I'm no expert on this, so my guess could be wrong.
