the issue we have is that window decorations are highly configurable, both 
because distros tend to ship a custom window deco for their product and 
because you may run a KDE app outside of KDE. therefore the only part that we 
really control to any extent is the contents of the window, so we probably 
should only show that part ...

it also keeps the focus on the UI itself, rather than the rest of the window 
decor.

if one is taking a screenshot of multiple windows or the entire desktop, then 
window deocs make sense ... but otherwise i'd agree here that no window decos 
is a pragmatic solution.
