I think they missed the word "major" between "first" and "update".

Which reminds me of the best comment on Slashdot 
(http://linux.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=169644&cid=14137613):

If 3.5 is a major release...

...what will 4.0 be? A stupendous release? An amazing release? A "Moses 
came down with KDE 4.0 on some tablets" release?
