Adding all commit numbers and line changes from http://cvs-digest.org 
since the last release leads to 83085 commits and slightly over 10 
million changed lines. This includes all branches, of course, and counts 
lines with multiple changes several times.

But I think it would be correct to simply say "several million lines added 
or changed".
