What might be of additional value would be some slide shows (or videos) which
could be run as a screensaver.

Use cases:
1. demo point at a fair:
when there is no customer around the demo pc would switch automatically (so no
one has to care for this) into screensaver mode and run the advertising
slides/videos (those where no dragons were hurt in the making of ;) to
attract some customers again (everything that moves and blinks is known to
attract, isn't it).
Or if no exhibitants are left to talk to (because they are doing a
presentation somewhere else or are being caught in a deep discussion with
some other customers) the customer could at least be informed about KDE and
the newest features or be entertained. The former also helps them to form
more clever questions (and not those boring "What is KDE?" and "What is new
in KDE?" questions that are dropped with a high frequency, at least in my
experience).
2. shop windows:
computer shops who feel associated with OS could place monitors into their
shop windows and run such slides and videos non-stop so joe user passing by
could be reached.

I think there isn't yet a kpresenter screensaver but perhaps someone might
find the time :P
