The LogOn Briefings will be held on five days at CeBIT and will present a program of in-depth technical tutorials and business conferences. We are looking for Tutorial and Business Presentation Submissions for the LogOn Briefings at CeBIT. Each Briefing is a vendor-neutral platform providing an up-to-date overview on the most relevant technical and business aspects of a specific technology. The topics of the LogOn Briefings at CeBIT 2004 will be: Open Source & Linux Dates: March 18 and 19, 2004 Security Dates: March 18 and 19, 2004 Storage Dates: March 18 and 19, 2004 OMG /Integration Dates: March 22, 23 and 24, 2004 XML Date: March 24, 2004 Web Services Dates: March 23 and 24, 2004 Java Date: March 22, 2004 For a detailed list of proposed session topics please go to:: http://www.ltt.de/logon-briefings.2004/dates-topics.shtml ############################################# Call for Submissions -- Instructions: Each Briefing is consisting of a set of technical tutorials and a program of product-neutral Business Presentations and Corporate Sessions. This Call is for Tutorial and for Business Presentation Submissions. Tutorial and Business Presentations can be submitted either for one day or for several days of CeBIT. *** Business Presentations *** Business Presentations for the afternoon conference are 30 minutes long. Your submission can be - a case study - a technical review and/or technology assessment - a presentation on IT Management Product or marketing presentations will not be accepted. *** Technical Tutorials *** The tutorials are addressed to a ** technical ** audience that is looking for in depth education on specific topics. Tutorial sessions will be 2.5 hrs long. Speaker Compensation for Tutorials: EUR 400.- flat plus one night hotel (if a tutorial is submitted for more than one day, each repetition is compensated with 200 EUR). Interested individuals or organisations are invited to submit +++ not later than January 30, 2004 +++ an abstract of the Tutorial or Business Presentation, including a brief biography of the presenter.
