Hello Everybody,

In this case, please get in touch with him.

Dear Sir:

I'd like to propose something for the KDE booth at Linux World Expo, New
York. I recently started a laptop retail business (www.nalekra.com). I'd
like to promote it while helping KDE. I considered some other non-profits
(Debian, Gentoo), but decided on KDE because since my first Linux install
(SuSE 5.3 in 1998) I have primarily used KDE as my desktop. I've used a lot
of different distros since then, but always I have benefited from KDE. I'd
like to give something back to KDE now.

Here's my idea. I'd like to provide a laptop to KDE to be raffled away at
KDE's booth. To be eligible for the drawing, one would have to make a
donation to KDE. Even a $1.00 donation should be sufficient enough to raise
an attractive amount for KDE. For fun, you could have a simple form with a
few easy questions about KDE designed to educate the reader. If you do
this, I'd appreciate a mention of NALeKRA in one question, too. For
 example:

(KDE logo) (NALeKRA
 logo)

LAPTOP DRAWING
(Form must be complete to be eligible. Winner will be notified by e-mail.)

Circle TRUE or false.

1. TRUE or false: KDE is a completely free and open desktop environment for
unix. 2. TRUE or false: Many applications, including a complete office
suite have been written for KDE. 3. TRUE or false: The 'KDE Free Qt
Foundation' guarantees the availability of Qt for free software development
now and in the future. 4. TRUE or false: NALeKRA sells laptops without the
 Micro$oft tax.

I would also like to have some product fliers available next to the laptop
displayed at your booth. Please reply as to whether this seems agreeable to
the KDE team. I hope that both KDE and NALeKRA can benefit from this.

Sincerely,

Nathan L. Krause
