It takes place in Utrecht and I wrote a small article on it
(http://www.xs4all.nl/~leintje/kde-nl/hcc2002/hcc2002_e.html)

--snip--
From Friday, November 22, till Sunday, November 24, there was a computer event
in the Netherlands, called the HCC-dagen which stands for
HobbyComputerClub(-days). It has become a big event, the biggest in Benelux
with an estimated 106 000 visitors.

nope it is
organisator: HCC
adress: Postbus 149, 3990 DC Houten, The Netherlands

Because it is a commercial event. With stands from all sort of shops were you
can buy stuff. It is a event where people buy loads of stuff for pc usage.
But also MS and Sun were there last year and some local ip's and so on...

To put it bluntly ... they to give a **** about KDE and if you are interested
in having a booth then they will ask you for money. In their eyes the event
will not have much more glamour when KDE participates (and there are so
wrong) and just like any other organisation you need to pay. There exists a
exception to this rule. You can be a Computertotaal-UG and then you can have
a booth at the UG-pavillion.

Yes, looking for sponsors ...

I feel the same way ... but consider this a big event with 106 000 visitors
and the biggest event in the Benelux. I never ever thought of paying for a
booth untill the question came from NLLGG.

This would be really cool ... remember that you are trying to convince
windows-users or newbies.

we will see what happens ... first I need more info from NLLGG.
