The Bayrischen Vermessungsverwaltung (http://www.geodaten.bayern.de) will have 
an open day on Saturday, 12th of July, so I'll go there for sure in case they 
don't release any more information on that switch. So far I personally doubt 
that SuSE is involved since they are usually good at timely putting press 
releases about their latest deals announced by their clients on their German 
homepage.
