Couple key points stand out: * they initially gave KDE to "unsophisticated" users with _no_ training. (and it worked great). This flies in the face of most of the press you hear about KGX. * they are using LTSP. The 12 users have "no clue" they are sharing one server. Can support six or eight more users w/o changing server. * 3.1 reduced the resource requirements on their LTSP server. * licensing issues were a pain that KGX solved. * migration path: - convert servers to GNU/Linux - amazed at stability increase - try KGX - celebrate!
