i wasn't thinking about the maintainer of the map in this case, but
about the registered persons. i very much prefer to have a central setup
with a nice form than to update several places, every one of them having
a different modification policy.

i'd go even further and make maps for each country (plus periphery).
well, that depends on the zoom.
the absolute killer would be being able to click on the map to directly
zoom into it. but note that at the moment i click and see my house i'd
consider the zoom _too_ high. :)))

in a corporate environment i'd have to agree. i'm not sure we have to
fear anything from a community-driven database. of course it can always
be abused; that's why i suggested that everybody should be free to set
the level of detail according to his liking.

not if we exactly define what an "authorized interest" is.
btw, even if we create a registration form, it should only be a way to
simplify creating an "application mail", which goes to an admin. well, i
already said something about inclusion policy.

greetings
