Thank you for your great work! Kurt already told me, that you again collected
quite some donations for our developer conference in August!

Producing flyers is rather expensive and it's a lot of work. You also need to
produce large amounts (3000-5000) because of the printing technology. They
cost about 500-1000€. Therefore they should be used for at least 2 years. The
german ones are now 1 year old...

So from KDE e.V.'s perspective, we don't want to invest in new german flyers
yet. But the english ones are very old now, so if anyone wants to update
those, I think, we can justify to spend some money on this.

During CeBIT I talked to someone from Heise ( http://www.heise.de/ix/events/ )
about making a filter from their event database (mysql) to iCAL for use in
korganizer. We could have a script which regularly graps their (not yet)
exported data, filters it and feeds it into the hot-new-stuff-system.

Another approach would be to have an own database on events.kde.org. This is
technically no problem and if anyone wants to put some work into it, I can of
course give access to my system. If you think, it's better to do this on a
kde-server, we of course also can move events.kde.org to another machine.
Do you think a nuke system would be a good idea?

Greetings,
eva
