Just posted on LinuxToday.com.  Wow.  Not specific to KDE, but Free Software 
in general.  Here's the lead ...

SEATTLE - Sterling Ball is Microsoft-free. Two years ago, the maker of Ernie 
Ball electric guitars and strings was slapped with a $90,000 fine by the 
Business Software Alliance for what the company says was unwitting use of 
eight unlicensed copies of Microsoft Office.

USA today is about as watered-down, palaver-eating mainstream as you can get 
here in the U.S.   It's an amazing strong article for Free Software.  Of 
course, they call it public domain, but heh, the got the gist right.  :)
