Eva, this is not a written thing, this is just that people think in an Free Software project, everything is free as in free beer. Some people are even shocked when you speak about money, although RMS makes it very clear that you should ask for money in exchange of Free Software. Mirko, how do I become a member of the KDE ev ? What is the entrance fee ? Where are the goals of the KDE ev stated ? In France, to create an association, you have to provide that kind of information. The president of the association shall also make a report every year of what the association has done, how much it has received and how it was spent. I think you really need a website. I can't help you to build it, but I can tell you what I want to see inside. And we could probably ask one of Andreas's 200 hidden people to participate in the building if they know html. The dot is used for things that happen in KDE. We should use it also to ask for help. Of course, we need to organise first but a call for help could perhaps make some volonteer join. > Is that not transparent? Even what I just said is notified to the public. Where ? > And I do not see KDE e.V. in the responsibility to do kde-promo work, sorry. This is not what we mean. We are talking about using the KDE eV to help in promotion. Even in promoting itself. regards, Philippe _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
