However, I think some some confusion may occur when theKompany describe products such as the commercial version of Open Source. They are in that the respect that you do get some source code, although can't do certain things, IIRC. _However_, to me at least calling something "Open Source" suggests that the license follows the specifications listed at http://www.opensource.org/docs/definition.html. So, Shawn, at least for me, it would clear up a lot of understanding if you didn't refer to some of your products (I'm use the following thread as an example -- the thread http://lists.kde.org/?l=koffice&m=100574793822655&w=2, in particular message http://lists.kde.org/?l=koffice&m=100578391807341&w=2) as open source. - -- Cheers, Chris Howells -- chris@chrishowells.co.uk, howells@kde.org Web: http://chrishowells.co.uk, PGP key: http://chrishowells.co.uk/pgp.txt KDE: http://www.koffice.org, http://edu.kde.org, http://usability.kde.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8D6GbF8Iu1zN5WiwRAlzKAJ9c/J2dfcIxUonql2wuYzd4N7OhVwCePMW4 MfxLAAgoHQepX5Ep31NQmeo= =swKa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
