And in general we take them pretty seriously.  I know specifically Dirk has

All of your statements are of course correct (in a technical sense).

But bottem line -- in my opinion including applications like these pretty 
significantly increases the chances of the KDE project being sued.

Do you either (a) disagree with that or (b) think that significantly increased 
chances of legal action are not a relevant reason for keeping something 
outside of CVS?

Note that either of those are fine -- again, I just want to have this issue 
hashed out with some logic behind it.
