Howdy,

After almost 2 years in the making, we just released libical v3.0.0

http://github.com/libical/libical/releases/tag/v3.0.0

(In theory) KCalCore will build and test just fine without any source changes.
You will need to recompile KCalCore from scratch as libical v3.0 is not binary \
compatible with older versions.
