This is a command line utility for manipulating Akonadi collections or
items. My additions on top of Kevin Krammer's original are now pushed
to the repository (git://anongit.kde.org/akonadiclient).

In practice it works well at manipulating local folders or address
books - listing, adding entries or folders, copying or moving items,
and showing information and item payloads. The one thing that it
doesn't do properly (and this is particularly unfortunate, because it
was one of my intended uses) is that big copies to an IMAP resource
sometimes update the Akonadi database but don't seem to push the
updates to the IMAP server, reported some time ago as bug 276078.
Listing or otherwise reading from IMAP works.

Haven't tried this out with any other remote resources (e.g. Google)
or any other type of collections (e.g. calendars, notes), so any
reports of success or otherwise would be welcome.

The operations that are currently available are:

move Move collections or items into a new collection
copy Copy collections or items into a new collection
add Add items to a specified collection
  create Create a new collection
info Show full information for a collection or item
show Show the raw payload of an item
list Lists sub-collections and/or items in a specified collection

Enjoy...

Regards, Jonathan
