Initial Situation:=20 I get notifications for events for all sorts of calendars that I have r= ead=20 access to as long as I am subscribed to them on the server. Most of tho= se=20 notifications are false alerts, since only five of these 50 calendars a= re=20 actually my personal ones and should provide me with such notifications= . Attempted Fix: Right click on every single calendar, Folder properties, Block reminder= s=20 locally. Worked like charm, finally I only get my own reminders. Only t= hat now: New Problem: All calendars for which I have done this are no longer visible in my li= st of=20 calendars, while still being server-side subscribed. I also can no long= er=20 select them for placing new events, which is almost equally annoying. That means it's now "single person ware" rather than "groupware" :-P The whole thing looks like it is a local subscription to the folder tha= t was=20 turned off, not just the alerts were suppressed. In fact, when I look a= t one of=20 the folders in the Akonadi console, I find it in the IMAP section, but = no=20 longer among the Kolab folders. And when looking at the Attributes of the IMAP folder, I find an attrib= ute=20 names "BlockAlarmsAttribute" that is empty, but does not exist for the = other=20 folders. So perhaps that is what does the trick? Deleted that attribute, no cigar. Folder still invisible. Be that as it= may,=20 the Local Subscriptions dialog in the Akonadi Console doesn't show me a= nything=20 however.=20 So I wonder: Is there some magic "only show folders from which you woul= d get=20 alarms" or "manage local subscription of calendar" setting somewhere th= at I=20 have just managed to blatantly overlook?
