Of course they do, you're always picky on the annoyances your experience. ;-)

We'll likely get a whole lot of stuff this way... We did this kind of thing in
the past and effectively managed to get one contributor block the release...

... but OK why not it looks like a safety net somehow. Let's hope it won't
degenerate in a massive bikeshed. :-)
When do the 1 week period starts?
And I still stand that in parallel another beta should be out since yesterday.
But apparently we all agree on this point, it's a matter of getting the
process started. :-)
