Message-Id: <1015402362.1102981.1301994014856.JavaMail.fmail () mwmweb076> X-MARC-Message: https://marc.info/?l=kde-pim&m=130199406600548 I already migrated to KDEPIM 4.6 before (about 3-4 month ago) So my mails were already in a ./local/share/akonadi folder and no longer at ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail. (I was hoping there's an easy way to transfer the akonadi-folder) What I did was I made a "fake" maildir with all my mails from the akonadi file_db_data subfolder and set up an maildir resource in akonadi, so I had my mails back, but all the categorizing and mailfolders were gone. btw.. I'm using KDEPIM 4.6 beta 4 right now, which is a lot more stable than before, but still it's _very_ laggy. Don't know if this due to my $home being on an nfs-share or simply because I have so many mails. Switching from "sent-mail" to "inbox" takes about half a minute before the mail listview gets updated. (If I can be of any help to optimize KDEPIM please let me know) regards,   Thomas -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: "Ingo Klöcker" Gesendet: 04.04.2011 22:45:45 An: kde-pim@kde.org Betreff: [Kde-pim] Re: Akonadi restore emails ? >On Monday 04 April 2011, Thomas Kleindienst wrote: >> Hello! >> >> I just installed openSuse 11.4 and updated to KDEPIM 4.6 from >> unstable. >> >> Before I backed up the ./local/share/akonadi folder >> with the file_db_data, db_data and db_misc subfolders. >> >> How do I get my emails back into KMail2 ? >> >> I tried adding an Akonadi resource but nothign worked. > >Did the migration run? > >Where is your mail?
