Akonadi and Nepomuk? That's exactly t= he=20 jargon that the original post targeted for elimination. I agree completely= =20 that we need something in there to make it easy to distinguish between case= s,=20 but I think the best way to do this is to make our error messages detailed = and=20 accurate. =20 Thanks for pointing out that this affects bug reports, too. If we replaced= all=20 of our error messages with the two words "something broke" we would have=20 messages that any user can understand, but we wouldn't be able to identify = the=20 bug without a backtrace or other debugging information. That makes it much= =20 harder for the general pubic to submit useful bug reports. =20 Robert --nextPart2042522.zgVDzst93U Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iEYEABECAAYFAkuoyBMACgkQNb20gW6TTssHfACeOVxrpkeUgmki+TmnqMYM2YZR hR8Anj1VFJbOgA8nnEh11pDJ49ux+cbE =DWZ8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart2042522.zgVDzst93U-- --===============0164770643== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ KDE PIM mailing list kde-pim@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-pim KDE PIM home page at http://pim.kde.org/ --===============0164770643==--
