I suggest using wikipedia to learn about terms you do not understand:

Wikipedia is much more complete than any glossary we write will ever be.

In any case, if you are new to Linux then you probably shouldn't bother=20
with SVN. Simply install the version of KDE PIM that's included in your=20
distribution. In a few month, when you feel more comfortable with Linux=20
then you might want to check out what SVN is about.
