FC6 removed it. Their call.

On the technical side, KPilot requires a version of pilot-link (0.12) which FC 
chooses not to ship (since it fixes a vast range of compatibility problems 
with newer devices, but is also source-incompatible with older pilot-link 
versions -- and apparently something they consider more important requires 
p-l 0.11.

You can compile KPilot from source with p-l 0.12 (after installing that from 
source) but it's a little tricky; there's some kind of instructions on 
kpilot.org.
