Ok, in this case the filter code should be separated into a library and
both, the pop3/imap resource and the mail frontend (kmail) can make use
of it.
The difference is, the filters used by the resource do filtering on
download from the pop3/imap server and the filters used by the mail
frontend will load the data from the storage backend, filter them and
write them back.
You just have to define a clean API for the filter mechanism to be able
to deal with both cases.
