This is no misuse. The absence of a commonly-agreed groupware solution is
the major obstacle that prevents KDE from taking over most desktops.
When I had this problem, I decided to use korganizer mounting my
colleagues' calendars via fish://. We had to establish a dedicated
calendar user on every PC being only priviledged for the .ics file access.
That's the only experience I got, it does not fit your requirements, but
SUSE will sure be glad to talk with you about their SLOX stuff.
