the port is active (telnet ldapserver 636 connects).
Ahh that is probably the problem:
ldapsearch -v -H ldap://ldap -x 'objectclass=3D\*'
works fine

ldapsearch -v -H ldaps://ldap -x 'objectclass=3D\*'
tells me=20
ldap_bind: Can't contact LDAP server (-1)
        additional info: error:14090086:SSL=20
routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

So where can I tell kontact or kaddressbook to accept the Server Certificat=
e?=20
(I hope the answer isn't too obvious, it isn't for me anyway).
