KMail from HEAD currently has three alternative implementations for selecting recipients in the composer: 1) The classical editor with one line edit per recipients type (to/cc/bcc) and the old clumsy selection dialog with the two hierarchical lists. This is enabled by default. 2) The new addressee selector dialog which also uses one line edit per recipients type, but uses a more streamlined selection dialog, still with two columns. This can be enabled by putting the line "AddresseeSelectorType=0" in the "Composer" section of kmailrc. 3) The new recipients editor which uses one line edit per recipient and provides a combo box for choosing the type (to/cc/bcc). It provides a one-column recipients picker dialog. It can be enabled by putting the line "RecipientsEditorType=1" in the "Composer" section of kmailrc. I would be interested in feedback about which alternative is the best. Maybe someone could even do some comparative usability tests. -- Cornelius Schumacher _______________________________________________ kde-pim mailing list kde-pim@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-pim kde-pim home page at http://pim.kde.org/
