How about this:
 - by default the text is
        "No date selected
         If you select a date in korganizer's journal view, you will see the number \
                of journals written for that date so far"
 - else
        You have written %n journal entry(s) for %date

Might be useful for people who write a several journal entries per day, and it is \
better than what is there now.
