I am now writing an application to synchronisize the kabc Addressbook and some mobile Devices. However I didn't find any possibilities to detect changeds in the Adressbook entries since last synchronisation. I log the UID of all the Addressbook Entries in a logfile. If Entries are deleted or added since the last Sync I will be able to detect that through the logfile. But how can I detect it, if I just have only changed the i.e Mail-Address from a existing Entry? Is there any possiblities in the KABC Libraries for such Situaition ( for Example, set a Timestemp or Calculation of a MD5 Summary)? Otherwise I will have to dump all the KABC Entries every time when I sync, so that I can compare it the next time I sync. It's not really elegant.... ;-) Any Ideas? Thanx a lot Cheers Luotao Fu -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBMzudiruQY+UyUmERAq1sAKC8sOKeqcWvtnswjxdD3GC7ij90MQCfeTfX FVJfJ43HTKpkZG5WX8DRWN4= =x/SX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ kde-pim mailing list kde-pim@mail.kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-pim kde-pim home page at http://pim.kde.org/
