I am running Fedora Core 2 with KOrganizer 3.2.1 (Using KDE 3.2.2-6 Red Hat). I moved my KOrganizer files from RH Enterprise 3. On the older system, I got my alarm notifications as pop-up windows at the specified time before the event. Under FC2 I do not get any notification.
The korganizer.kde.org/features/alarm.html page says to choose the menu entry "File > Make Active." That menu entry does not exist on my system. However, in a small calendar window at the lower left of the KOrganizer window there is an "Active Calendar" entry with a box that I have checked. Not sure if this is the same thing.
I'd like to know how to get the pop-up notifications working.
Thanks in advance for your help.
George
