Dirk,
I'm just dying of curiosity. What did you think of my last reply?

Ahh... Right you are!

I would like to be able to go into a clients record (address book) and
from that location:

	1)	Maintain a record or log of conversations. (Notes and
history)
	2)	Schedule an appointment, call, or 'to do' and have it
immediately show up on my task list and calendar.
	3)	Be able to track where I'm at with the client with
regards to the sales cycle.
	4)	Be able to maintain a list of alternate contacts and
phone numbers at that client's business.
	5)	I would like to also maintain a history of documents
sent. (That may be redundant but having a easy way to
track documents sent would be cool).
	6)	Have the flexibility to add additional (custom) user
fields could be handy.

Most of these ideas come directly from ACT so I can't claim to be any
creative genius here. However, the current list a java based,
multi-user groupware programs are way to big, complex and expensive for
anyone wanting a simple, stand alone program for a small business. In
addition, I don't feel to comfortable putting all my client info on the
web.

I don't know off hand if Kontact is groupware ready, but if it is,
wouldn't it be useful if these sales tools were available as an add on?
You've already done such a great job creating Kontact, and by supplying
some simple sales tracking features you've added a key component to the
modern business desktop.

Just one guys opinion. Keep up the excellent work!

... the obvious question is: what is missing for it to become a
professional
level selling application?
