Don't feel bad. Your work and help is appreciated and there really is no other 
way to learn these things than to make the kind of mistakes you made. So keep 
at it. Btw, following the kde-cvs commits list is a good way to get a feel 
for the kind of things people will yell at. And of course there are the 
commit rules and the style guide on developer.kde.org. And if you are unsure, 
ask away, like you've been doing, either on the lists or in #kontact.
